Chardonnay dominates pinot noir here 60-40, the pinkish salmon colour is arrived at with a dash of red pinot noir from Les Orizeaux, it smells of sour cherries, almost flinty stony minerals and a gently spiced biscuity edge. The palate has a smooth and creamy texture, oozes charm and plays off generosity with restraint to great effect. Really fresh, really fine, drink now.
