Description
The 2017 Vallisto Malbec has a very classical label and I’d say a classical Salta profile with freshness, expressing the conditions in a balanced and subtle way. The wine is ripe and round, with a lush palate. It comes from a vineyard at 1,900 meters in altitude on granite soils and manages to express place through less intrusive winemaking and élevage. They were looking for more freshness and more delicate extractions and harvested a little early. 40,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2018.
