Description
The 2018 Matthews Cabernet Sauvignon comes from several small vineyard parcels within three AVAs: Columbia Valley, Red Mountain, and Walla Walla Valley. Harvested by hand in the early morn- ing between September 5th – November 12th, 2018, each cluster was hand-sorted, berry-sorted, and then fermented in a combination of concrete and stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine was moved to French oak barrels for cellaring. After 40 individual eval- uations by our winemaking team, only 18 barrels were bottled in early October 2020. -Winery
