Description
(Pillot has six barrels of this juice for the first time, still a relatively low 27 hectoliters per hectare): Bright medium yellow. Ripe peach and spices on the nose, plus an element of menthol minerality that reminded me of the Chenevottes. But this wine is at another level of concentration and tension, offering fully ripe yet saline and brisk flavors of yellow stone fruits, spices, flowers and minerals. Chewy, tactile and very long, with a spectacular resounding finish. This beauty boasts near-grand cru penetration and elegance. (12.9% natural alcohol)
