50 yards from La Tache Grand Cru. One barrel made in 2016 from 100% new oak and 70 yr old vines and aged for 16 months. The Aux Boudots site for Noellat is only divided by a 5yr dirt road from 1er cru of Aux Malconsorts, which some consider one of the top two 1er cru vineyards in Vosne Romanee (along with Suchots) as it borders the famed La Tache Grand Cru. This wine from the excellent 2016 vintage, drinks more like Vosne Romanee with the elegance, smoothness, and velvet characters of the Village. The wine is very complex with aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, cherry and fresh currant. An incredible wines that will reward years of drinking pleasure.
